I just wanted to take a moment to say how wonderful it is to have a job where even our "slow kids" are above average intelligence. It's one of the most fabulous non-monetary benefits, I never knew existed.
After spending 2.5 years exiled to Southern Illinois, aka, ignorant, lazy, entitlement Hell; where the only intelligent person I had to talk to was my wife Stephanie, I'm still giddy to have other intelligent people to converse with! I almost broke down into tears of joy when a coworker used the term Schadenfreude.
I might not always agree with my coworkers and the work might not always be the most fun time I've ever had, but damn, I love my job. Once I get Stephanie home where she belongs, life will be pretty fantastic. O.O
