Week 5 weigh in or "Ain't that some shit"

Ok, let me start off with, I weighed in at 232.6 lbs for a 1 lb weight loss. My left foot is doing much better so I'm getting in my runs and building speed there, and I'm slowly increasing my bench so I'm happy there as well. Apparently, I'm not eating enough so I'm supposed to increase my caloric intake... we'll see how that goes next week.

Now for the, "Ain't that some shit", part of the story! Remember my lovely daughter Cricket weighed in at 16.2 lbs last week? Well, she weighed in at 15 lbs this week for a 1.2 lb weight loss! Now, ain't that some shit, I got beat by a cat! It could have something to do with her brother Ratchet taking her food as well as us reducing her food supply because our bratty little son weighed in at 11.7 lbs for a .3 lb weight GAIN! At least I beat someone in this weeks weigh in! ;-)

Week 4

Ok, this is getting annoying I want a damned large pepperoni pizza damn it! Whew, got that out of the way. This weeks weigh in was 233.6 lbs. While it's a loss it's still disappointing. I am doing a bit better on the exercise front though. My ankle is still bothering me but I made it 2.5 miles today on my run and my weight is up to 140 lbs on the bench so making progress there.

But enough about me. Time for the Cricket update I know that's what you are all interested in anyway! Her Royal Highness, Princess Cricket the First, native name Little Poop Foot, weighed in at 16.2 lbs. Her brother Prince Ratchet the stinky boy, also known as Little Man felt this should be a family affair and insisted on getting his weight checked with the rest of the family and he weighed in at a trim 11.4 lbs

Now we shall see how the whole family progresses from week to week! ;-)

Hello peoples...

Nothing major going here. Just being harassed by the cat. She's hungry and demanding food upon pain of pain. Actually, she's just being very attentive and loving, trying to convince me to feed her. I don't think she knows how allergic I am to her, although I could be wrong about that. She could be using it to try to extort food from me so I'll be able to breathe!

Poor Cricket, she should weigh from 10-12 lbs but weighs 17.5 lbs and since Steph and I are dieting Cricket gets to diet too! Yeah, that's how we roll, we do things as a family! The cats' food dispenser drops food every 8 hours, after about 6 she's starving and makes it known how she feels about that state of affairs! If you guys don't hear from me for an extended period, she has killed me and is feeding off my corpse. I think I'll weigh her tomorrow when Steph and I do our weigh-ins and see if she's making any progress. Stand by for Cricket updates as well as updates from Steph and I! ;-)

Week 3 Update

Ok, this week was only 1 lb. I'm at 234.4 lbs... whew. I must admit I was concerned. My ankle is bothering me again so I only got in my weight training, no running this week. =(
I'm hoping that as I lose weight it will become easier to run again and my foot will finally heal! Oh well, at least it was forward progress!

Weekly Weight Update!

Ok, so I weighed in at 235.4 lbs this week. 3.6 lbs this week. Hrrrm, at this rate I suppose I'll hit my goal weight in about 2.5 months. Although I'm not sure how I'm going to like being that skinny! ;-)

As for my running I've actually started running again this week instead of just walking like last week. My stupid foot is still a bit weak but it's coming along so I don't want to re-injure it by doing too much too fast. This week I'm walking a mile and running a mile on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Mon-Wed-Fri I 'm walking a mile and doing strength training. I'm consistently benching 10 sets of 10 reps at 130lbs, on my way to 10 sets of 10 reps at 205lbs. I figure I can add 10lbs a week until I hit my goal there. I'm doing Lats and Curls as well but have no real goal in mind with those just using those to tone up.

All in all, I'm satisfied with my progress. Trying to take it slow and steady so it's sustainable and I don't injure myself again. I don't want to set my training back by having to spend my time recovering again!
